I managed to sign up to the service on Monday morning at 8am and just
waiting confirmation when I can use it!

Otherwise, NTL World (www.ntlworld.com) for a tenner a month is very good,
albeit you need to register and wait for the CD to arrive (they don't allow
dial-up when you first sign up, so you have to use their CD to install
connection - then deinstall and add setting for dial-up!)

Yawn.......

Has anyone else experienced any difficulty signing up with Freeserve
anytime? Registrations start at 8am every morning, yet despite nearly
killing myself by being at my terminal at 7.59am on the dot for the last
4
days, I keep being told at the site that all of that days quota has been
used up. I called them (yes, I know, big mistake) to find out how many
subscriptions they're handing out each day, and after a serious piece of
hold-music action, they reckon it's 1000. Am I just being pipped to the
post
each day, or does anyone know anything that might confirm my worst
suspicions? Can anyone recommend an ISP with a slightly less taxing
sign-up
proceedure for anytime? Has anyone else suffered the indignity of this
early
morning humiliation?

Dave.
