it happens to me too, & i have 320 ram, & start out with 2-3 gigs of disc
space.
with your set up, it would depend on which drive you have your scratch disc
on, if it's C then if you've opened two or three files & closed them it's
all fragged, & you simply need to close all the files & reopen, not the
program, though i do that too if i've had anything open before booting
phshp.
can't be your memory allocation for phosphop can it? wouldn't think so with
all the ram you have, you know all that

Does anyone know why after rebooting I would be out of memory working on a
140K Photoshop file? 256MB RAM and about 500MB on C and 1.4GB on D drives
free - tells me I have insufficient RAM when trying to change the font of a
text piece - only app open at the time.
