Subject: RE: FLASH: How does Flash 4 Magic compares to Flash Web Design?

Helen,

We have the Flash 4 Bible here at our office. I have liked using it so far.
We just got the Hillman Curtis book, which in my opinion is a better overall
book. The one thing I do really like about the Bible books (which we have
many) is the massive amounts of information that they provide on the given
software package. The Flash 4 Bible is no different, it has the most
detailed information about Flash that is probably out there. Where it falls
short is dealing with the more complex programming of Flash (which is so
important to be a successful company). It does have an extensive list of
the various actionscript functions and such, but falls short in really
explaining how they should be used and what they can really do. But I think
if you wish to have a book that really talks about every function that Flash
has to offer (and I mean every function) then I would recommend having a
copy of this book.

My two cents.

One last thing, we are in the process of redesigning our website with a
brand new splash page up front. If anyone could take the time, we would
appreciate some feedback on our beta version that is on it. Any comments
would be greatly appreciated.

The site address is: http://www.medicmediagroup.com/mmgnew/mmgsplash.html

This is only a beta version. We are in the process of developing a more
creative preloader and such.

Thanks for everyones comments.
