FLASH: Scence in Flash 2

To the Flash Guru's,


Please tell me how I can use a bmp image as a scene?  I have a bmp image

and I want to use it as my background scence in Flash 2.  How big does my

bmp image have to be?  I want it to fill up the entire browser window?  I

remember seeing a msg awhile back in regards to the dimensions of browsers

for Flash.  Can someone please forward this information to me.


Also, I have Flash 2 now but will be getting Flash 3 later.  Can my Flash 2

files be readable in Flash 3?  I don't want to spend a lot of time and find

out later on that I have to redo everything.
