FLASH: symbols vs. no symbols

Another optimization question:


I read that you should try to make _everything_ symbols: i.e. a paragraph of

text that is only used once in the movie, if you make it a symbol, the final

filesize will be smaller than if you just leave it as text in a frame.


Any truth to this?
