Kevin,

I haven't seen any massive savings in creating a symbol out of text, but
I have seen considerable savings by using a minimum number of font
faces.

Another optimization question:

I read that you should try to make _everything_ symbols: i.e. a
paragraph of
text that is only used once in the movie, if you make it a symbol, the
final
filesize will be smaller than if you just leave it as text in a frame.

Any truth to this?
