FLASH: how to create a graphic to use in Flash

Hi all,

At the beginning of this Flash  movie that I want to create, I want to have

an image of that black/yellow "warning" tape that police use on a crime

scene. So I will create this image in either Illustrator or Photoshop...


...will someone tell me which format is the best to get into Flash?

...is it best to just save the file in Illustrator or Photoshop and then

open it in Flash?
