If you're leaving flash no problem, then the problem

lies within fcpro.


Do you have FCPro 1.25?  They've fixed a few things in

this version, including color processing.  Many

rendered colors in previous versions of the software

lost brightness, contrast, etc...  


Also, check out 2-pop.com for good fcp info.
