GetURL does work with IE Mac.

However, javascript detection does not work with IE 4.5 because the
browser cannot detect plug-ins and always returns a value of false.

For workarounds and suggestions, try this technote:

http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/ts/documents/redirect_mac_msie.htm

In fact, doing a search on "redirect" from this page:

http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/technotes.html

will bring up about a dozen articles, some of which may help you.
