I Thank everyone for their input, ( Marc Dave and Nigel ), I really enjoyed
http://www.jps.net/dartfrog
and http://home.twcny.rr.com/jcurry/fsopen.html (midi)
The answer to my question seems to be 'no' I cannot synchronize two
different audio tracks in flash.....but..
it can sortof of be done...
If anyone has any additional URLs of examples where a mouseover or click
seemed to add layers of audio to an existing loop, would you please foward
them? I am curious to see (hear) how other people have accomplished this.
and what variation of the advice I recieved here did they use. i.g.
http://eye4u.com seems to have this effect but now it seems as if the
entire audio track is changed on event rather than 'added to'
thanks again.

Bill,
The answer to your first question is no, you can not do it in Flash. If
you need this effect you'll have to use Director.
