Subject: Re: FLASH: Flash Memory Requirements on Mac (was Reality checkre*Flash 4 Magic* file?)

have had the same problem on PC..earlier post
---------
I have run into a problem when creating swf file from a fla any help
gratefully received.

I am producing a movie to run from CD and the fla is around 4.1mb, the
problem occurs when I export the movie to swf I get an error message which
is very Mac orientated (I am on PC) which states..

'There is not enough memory to open this scene.......
To increase available memory, close the open document and use the get info
command in finder to allocate more memory to Flash"

If I say OK to the dialogue box a swf is created but behaves much like a
movie which is not fully downloaded from a site i.e. some buttons don't
work, they work fine if I run the movie in Flash.

I have a PIII with 128mb RAM, how can I allocate more memory to Flash to
stop this error?, will I need to use 'Load Movie' and breakup the movie?

Any ideas?

and 128 MB RAM on one machine, and 192 MB RAM on the other machine. If this
error should occur in Windows I'd be really hosed as there is no way to
dedicate a specific amount of memory to an application that I am aware of.
All memory is available to all applications.
