Ack!
As a rule, don't ever go over 18fps, thats the max that win 95/98 can
display anyways...
Anything faster will just increasing your filesize.

(how's that for editing!)

If you find that the trailing movie clip is jerky, it's due to the slow
frame rate. I would recommend setting the frame rate much higher - depending
on your movie content, you could even max out the
frame rate at 120fps. Keep in mind that a) this helps with movies that don't
have "animation", but require quick responsiveness to actions, especially
draggable items, and b) most machines will not
come anywhere *near* 120fps... more like 20-30fps tops. However, if you set
the fps higher, you'll get all machines performing as fast as they can.
Draggable items will appear much smoother and less
"jerky". This will probably not be an option if you have tweening or other
animated playback, as it will look like "fast-forward".

Just a tip - if you've made a navigation interface that does not have
movement, upping the frame rate is the best thing you can do to improve the
responsiveness. Otherwise, we're just running into the
frame rate restrictions of Flash. For more info on that, and why Director is
capable of achieving higher frame rates, check this out:
