Subject: FLASH: explorer's weird flash dither
From: Paul Ahern
Date: Fri, 4 Feb 2000 00:14:33 GMT

hi all -- please, any ideas you have about this:

i did a project for work - http://www.humancode.com/hctv/enter.html - that
wrangles embedded RealVideo, Flash and a director movie nav wheel in one html
frameset, and the problem is this: I've got the bg color in all said frames
set to the exact same, websafe hexadecimal value (0,102,153, which looks fine
in Netscape), but in Explorer there are clear lines of division between them
(not what I want!).

SHould I attempt to create a background in flash that anticipates explorer's
tweaked tendency, or should I say screw it and call it impossible? Please
indicate OS/browser you're using.

paul
