FLASH: Passing variables from asp file to Flash

Hello all.  I'm trying to return a variable from an asp page to Flash with a very simple setup

(which doesn't work).  I have a two frame flash file--the first has one action,  a Load

Variables("passvar.asp",0).  The second has a text box called "textbox" (not feeling very

creative today).  Everything is on one layer. passvar.asp has one line of vbscript, which is:

response.write("textbox=yourstuff").  The flash file, html file and asp file are all in the same

directory.  When I run the program, nothing shows up in textbox.  Links to all the files may be
