This has bothered me, too. So I played around and made it work. you can

download a Zipped .swf and .fla at

http://www.dartfrogmedia.com/flash_demos/page_turn.zip.  There are

production notes on the flash stage. Check out the .fla to see just how

it's constructed. Not difficult, but more steps than one would hope.
