Subject: FLASH: iCab Redux or a New Great Mac Hope

Hey Folks,

Just caught this on the newswires:

iCab v1.9 preview is the latest version of the alternative
small, compact
Web [browser] This version expires at the end of June and offers
support
for browser plug-ins (e.g., QuickTime, Flash & Shockwave), a new
"Link-Manger" which lists all links of a shown webpage in a seperate
window and a first beta of JavaScript support, which is called
"InScript".

<http://www.icab.de/download.html>

I urge all Mac-capable Flashers to download this latest version and test
its functionality with Flash and JavaScript functionality, and send
feedback both to this list and the iCab feedback lines.

With any luck, this dandy little anti-bloatware browser will present
itself as a viable alternative to MS' diabolical plot to overtake the
world at 96 pixels per inch, and give the aging dinosaur, Navigator cum
Mozzilla/Fizilla a run for the money (free v cheap, should be
interesting).

Cheers

Frederico
