Pete

The only way I can think of doing this is by using Javascript to detect the
browser size, then assigning this to a variable, which can then be passed to
the Flash movie. Then you can use the variable as a multiplier to set the
size of your bitmaps in relation to the browser size. This is tricky stuff.
Check out FS commands, variables, setproperty actions etc. and get a good
Javascript book.

Hope that's of some help

++
++ Hi everyone,
++
++ It's my first time here so apologies if this question
++ has been asked to
++ death already :)
++
++ Is it possible for a Flash file to scale to the size of
++ a browser window
++ but NOT scale any Bitmap images along with it ? I really
++ want the Flash
++ vector stuff to scale 100% to the browser (easy enough) and
++ the bitmaps to
++ stay the same size so they do not distort and pixel ate.
++
++ I know I could go the route of frames and use Flash for
++ everything but
++ the images and put them in HTML pages but that would defeat
++ my purpose.
++
++ There is probably some really simple code I have yet to
++ discover for
++ this.
++
++ Thanks in advance, hope this is self explanatory.
++ Pete.
