Make the pill a movie clip,put a stop action on the first frame. On the

second frame insert a blank keyframe on the pill layer (eliminating the

pill) 

Create action script in the pacman clip

If(GetProperty("/Pacman"_droptarget) eg "/Pill"

Begin tell target ("/Pill")

Go to and stop frame 2

End on


Thats one way to do it....evalutaing getProperty.

hi, I found about this list through the macromedia web site.  I'm still in

school learning mostly interactive stuff like director and flash.  I hope

I can learn a lot and also contribute to the list...


my first question to the list is this:  I've just got a small favor/job

from a friend who wants a pac-man type game.  My queston is how do I

enable the pac man to detect a pill?  I can make the pacman move around

the grid through a movie with lots of actions.  I feel very overwhelmed

about it....
