Ok, the more I research this the more complicated it's getting.
Microsoft's Hardware Requirements for Multiple Display Support
(http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q182/7/08.ASP) lists Chip
sets that support this, but it suggests that others work...esp. when used as
the secondary monitor.
So, I've found some that are on that list on pricewatch.com cheapest being
$27 w/o shipping.
If any of you can let me know what you are using with dual, I would
appreciate it greatly!
Also...I understand that most motherboards initialize the PCI devices before
AGP. Are there ways around this, as I would need my AGP card to be my
primary!? All I could really find in my BIOS was under Video
Configuration - Palette Snooping (Enable/Disable)...is this the
initialization setting or something different?
