I imagine the easiest way to do this would be to use tell target and just
apply tint or other to each specific button to make it match the b/g colour
scheme.

Subject: FLASH: variable for symbol color?
I have a button that changes the background image of my movie (loading an MC
into level1) and I want to know if it's possible to also send a variable to
change the buttons (in levels 2, 3 and 9) to change their color (to keep it
all
the same color scheme). I'm just starting to get into actionscript. Is this
possible? Any suggestions?
