While there are issues with Javascript and
extenal (load movie, get url) calls on MSIE(mac)
I haven't heard of any internal (to the swf)
differences between browsers/platforms.

Your IE problems sound like flash 3 plug-in
playing flash 4 content issues, try re-installng
flash 4 plug-in on MSIE. (I'm assuming you are
testing these swfs locally on your own machiens
if you getting these errors from other users of
your online content, please post a URL).
