Just read this on: http://www.macosrumors.com/
Apple and Macromedia bring Flash to QT4 [14:51 EST, 1/22]
Great news for Web developers -- Apple and Macromedia have been working for
some time to incorporate Macromedia's excellent Flash technology into
QuickTime 4 -- which means that virtually every Mac user will soon be
equipped to view Flash-enhanced Web site.
This is a big coup for supporters of Flash, and could help push standards
developers to create a truly open, rich-media standard markup language
capable of similar features. (Which would, in the humble opinion of this
publication, be a Good Thing).
Is this something that has been officially announced? Or at least is it a
reliable rumour? Wild speculation? Wishful thinking?
