Hi Angel,


Probably the best way of doingthis is as follows, use a mask layer. In layer

1 you draw your line (make it a symbol) . In layer 2 you draw a rectangle

that covers the line (make sure that it is filled ) and make that a symbol

too . You now have two layers with one symbol each in it . The top layer

with the rectangular box in it will become the mask . To make it a mask ,

click on the triangle next to the layer name (layer 2) Select mask . You now

have a mask covering the line . All you need to do now is to move the

rectangle  on the stage: say 10 frames down you insert a keyframe, and move

the symbol to the right until it no longer covers the line. Click on frame 1

and add motion tweening. Voila, you now will see the line appear gradually

when you push test movie .
