Hi Phil,

I just did this on a site with organs and harpsichords.
I created an on and off button and created an movieclip with
sound/music. Put this on the second frame and give frame 1 a stop
action.
Than go to the scene where you put your buttons in a layer and the
movie clip also on a layer. Give the movie an instance name. Click
the on button, modify/actions and pick a mouse action, than tell
target (name of your movieclip) and go to and play (frame 2)

Clik the of button givr this the action on (whatever you want) begin
tell target ("/movieclip") stop all sounds etc.

Hope this helps
Karin
