The various browsers don't offer an interface to controlling when things
load, sorry. They tend to take different approaches to choosing when to
request things in a page.

That said, you can force the issue by loading other media in a *previous*
page... this insures that the browser already has it in its cache, so it
won't need to request these GIFs for your target page.

(How to hide a load in a previous page? Sometimes people put scrunched-up
copies as small dots in a previous page... sometimes people use a
JavaScript loading routine... sometimes people use a very small frameset
division. The key goal is to get the desired material into the browser's
cache *before* the page where you want to appear to control loading order.)
