What you are trying to do is import a rastorized image and automatically convert it to vectorized. You will lose some quality. How much depends on the level of complexity you have with the bitmap.

Thanks John.

But can I bring an existing Bitmap into Flash and convert it to vector so I
can paint it and resize it and all the cool stuff that goes with vector
without loosing quality?
