If you hold out for a a little while Harpoon will be out. I think it is
currently in beta. Basically harpoon is flash on the front end and cold
fusion on the back end.

But for the mean while, a simple way of doing it would be to stick cold
fusion variables at the end of the flash file name, like so:
<cfoutput>
<EMBED src="movie.swf?name=#form.variable#">
</cfoutput>
That¹s just a basic representation of one way of doing it. There are some
great resources on the macromedia website that I suggest you check out.
