Subject: FLASH: How To Refer to Loaded Movies
From: Scott Rossi
Date: Tue, 16 May 2000 01:09:44 +0100

Let's say you have a movie running that loads an alternate movie (clip1.swf)
without replacing itself. How do you refer to the additionally loaded
movies in actions, for targeting and such? Do you use the file name
(clip1.swf), movie name (clip1) or path name (myclips/audio/clip1.swf)?

We have a movie that is supposed to act as a channel selector that swaps
various audio-only movies. We're having a hard time writing a test action
to determine when the audio-clip movie has finished loading. Should the
test go in the audio movie itself, or can it go in the master movie?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Regards,

Scott
