For instance:
Have both the button and the mc loaded in the first frame of the main
time line. The mc parked (stopped in an empty frame).
Assign the following action to the button instance:
on (rollover)
begin tell target ("/MCinstancename)
go to and play ("the frame where something happens in the mc")
end tell target
en on

et voila
(the above is just the general idea, not the right syntax!!)
Make sure the MC actually exists (is loaded) when the rollover happens
