I'm placing tweens on their own layers...I think I've just optimized this
enough so that it's not something cumbersome...the whole tweening more than
one item at a time has been helpful.

How do you break them up?

Do you put two tweens each into separate layers
or one after the other?

Wouldn't the calculations of those tweens add
to the same amount as before?

* position into two seperate tweens - both of them tweening position, and
* each only tweening size or color.
