From: nickcalladine

ok..

if i have a scene.

which has a button on it and i need it to call movie clip in the same scene is it correct to do it as follows

<the button is in frame 1 - layer 1 >
<the movie clip is in frame 2 - layer 2 - the movie clip frame 1 is a stop frame 2 is where the tween takes place>

<the movie clip is meant to look like after the button has been clicked that the button then physially moves from orginal position to new postion - at the same time removing the orginal button in frame 1>

<hope that is clear>

if not please say so.. i can either send the fla which allows you to see it more clearly.

ok the button has the action script

on mouse (release)
tell target ("button1movie")
goto play frame 2
end target
end

or do i had a label and have it go to that.

have i got it wrapped round again.. pls help if u understand what i am trying to do and know of a better way pls reply..

to me this is so simple and i cant seem to get it to work

regards
a very stressed flash newbie..
