If you are unable to use Brian's good suggestion, try this:

Are you a Windows user?
If so, you should be able, if you have the usual Windows software and
hardware bells, be able to go into your Sound icon (in the tray)>Volume
Control>Options and check Recording, make sure everything's checked except
what might interfere with recording (microphone), and start up your sound
editing program (you _do_ have a sound recording/editing program... don't
you?) while the MIDI file player is up ready to roll. Hit RECORD in your
sound recorder/editor program, hit PLAY in MIDI player, and wait for it to
finish. Voila! Your only setback will be how good the MIDI samples on your
sound card are, and you'll have to live with it or get a better soundcard.
