FLASH: problems running background sound over different scenes in movie

Hi everyone, having a bit of a problem with running a bacground sound 

in a movie.  I have a movie made up of 6 scenes, with the movie 

lasting 3 mins.  On the first scene i have created a layer for sound 

and added the background song which is 1 min.  I have looped the song 

so it plays the duration of the movie but its not working.  it keeps 

cutting out after ir plays once.  How can i make it loop and then 

fade at the end of the movie.  Please help!!!
