they can, but frontpage has a horrible habit of sticking "tags" and "webbot"

components when and where it wants. it basically takes the page over. it

wrecks your HTML. as far as editing files...i would keep a clean copy backed

up at all times. for flash files frontpage makes it a active X component

which can also ruin the page for netscape.

frontpage 98 (which is the last version i have seen) was not capable of that

ability. dont know about gen.
