The only advantage I find when using Photoshop's ImageReady;
You can view the upload time on your optimized files...
I don't think you can do this with Fireworks...

i have all three installed: psp, photoshop and fireworks, and i prefer
fireworks. it's what suits your needs and lies good in your hand, nothing
more nothing less.

Hey... PSP is a nice program. Of course, I though PSP 5 was bloated with
features--so you'll see me behind the wheel in PSP 4! Fireworks is also a
suitable alternative for the work that MOST people use Photoshop for.
