FLASH: How to call External application?

Can I create a button that opens a word document? How do I reference the

document object?


Do I have to use a URL?  


What if I have an application that calls files without extensions?  I do.


such as:

rw.exe abe342t3


This application launches then goes to a specific segment (abe342t3) of the

app.


How can I pass:


d:\apps\rw.exe abe342t3 so that on MousePress the application fires off?
