Yes, Flash is addictive. Welcome to the program.

This is a good use of Flash. May I suggest you add some action, perhaps
some comic relief. You could have a scrolling background to create the
illusion of flight, show the entire plane, and have the plane crash when it
stalls.

I think the circles with the degrees in them are redundant; the arrow
controls are enough, or you could replace all with a whatever that tilting
thing is that pilots use. It's possible in Flash to have the user click on
the steering control and then create the illusion of moving the control up
and down. This is done by having a bunch of buttons that look like the
control but appear only on mouse rollover. Each button directs the wing to
a different position. A few more increments of lift would be nice, so that
the user gets to interact a bit longer before crashing the plane. Sound
would be a natural: putt-putt, stall, and crash effects. They will add to
your file size but you can use a lot of compression on them and use looping
for the first two.
