Subject: | FLASH: CALL FUNCTION / TARGET PROBLEMS |

Hello,
If anyone can help me with the situation below, I would greatly appreciate it.
Situation:
I have a game working on the main stage of my flash movie. I also have a Movie Clip containing only code in a MC called "code". This is used by the call function to keep code organized.
My problem is this. I have my game set up so that when you press the up or down keys it moves a boat on the screen forward or reverse. For both actions, the Call ("/code:check for boat off screen") is used to see if the boat is off the screen or not. Inside that code is a check to see if the target "boat" on the main stage is outside a specific area.
Well, I don't think I am targeting the "boat" MC correctly. Here is a layout of the situation:
MAIN STAGE:
- "BOAT" MC
- "CODE" MC
(From inside the "code" MC I want to target the "boat" MC)
Help is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Dave
