Bit like those 'This site is insecure' type messages browsers give out.
Not for the protection of consumers but to drive sales of commerce
servers. 'Let's scare the pants off the customers of our customers so
that we can sell more security solutions'. Some people perpetuate this
problem unwittingly - assuming by telling people they are safe, that it
does not then occur to them that they are keeping the 'unsafe' flame
alive.
