Subject: UKNM: Sue 'em

just been chatting to our database manager - who seems to know the score and
he reckons that if you register with emps, see:

http://www.the-dma.org/services/empssubscription.shtml

and companies you've unsubscribed from continue to e-mail you afterwords
(Fiona and Lastminute trying to unsubscibe twice) then you can sue the pants
of them - of course there's a little bit of a grey area if it comes to your
unsubscibe and their check just missing each other, but if they e-mail you
again sounds to me like you've got a case.

Supposedly that's present UK law anyway - although the euro-bureacrats are
putting their oar in at the mo. (more news on changes on that front
supposedly due in December - only 6 months late)
