New Media Introductory Course Preliminary Examination Paper 1
Multiple Choice

q1) The Physical Location of a web server is important because

a) most users have a traceroute addiction, and are very loath to conduct
e-commerce with sites not physically located in the same country.

b) IP packets travel at the speed of sound, so it's important to have
the server near the customers for decent performance.

c) The Government, worried about security, is going to close the rest of
the internet, so UK citizens will not be able to access your server
after the E-commerce bill becomes law.

d) I haven't been doing this stuff very long, I just don't get it.
