I guessed the name was generated somehow out of "Quelque" as they originated
in France.
Which makes it rather less than wacky I suppose. Is there a rich untapped
seam of names that
might mean something to a large Net population of non-anglophiles and also
sound quite decent
in English...hmmm...now there's a thought <sounds of ransacking distant
memories of language
degree>
