Not sure if it's short-sightedness, but our big frustration is (1) 

people seem to irk because we're based in Newcastle and not 

London ("we must have a meeting down in London" - why? we're 

more accessible on the net! - inevitably meetings don't happen 

because unless it's absolutely worth our while they don't happen) 

and (2) companies that seem to think because there's just 2 

people at Loquax that we're some kind of blooming charity.


We've had everything from big companies asking for free banner 

placement to someone asking "so how do i get people to buy stuff 

from my site" (if i knew i'd be running a flipping online store) - it's at 

times like that you do wish that there was someone about able to 

say "I'm sorry he's in a staff meeting"
