In a shock move this afternoon On-Line Publishing football team manager
Gemma Walford has dropped striker Jezza "Ginger" Spice from the team for
Friday's new media tournament. Speaking from OLPs new Kendall Place
offices, until recently home to well-known web luminaries WebMedia, Walford
spoke with regret of Jezza's loss of form.

"It's not a personality thing", she insisted, "it's just that Jeraint is
not match fit. Anyone who saw his performance in the company warmup games
yesterday would agree with me. I need a team of athletes, people who can go
the full ten minutes".

Stories that Jezza had been seen in the early hours of Tuesday morning in a
Baker Street kebab shop with old drinking partners Nigel Dunn and David
Tulett were strenuously denied by the OLP camp this morning. However
tomorrow's "Sun" is believed to feature a photo of the trio indulging in a
particularly repulsive rendition of Riverdance, taken sometime after 4am. A
half-eaten kebab is clearly visible in Jezza's hands.
