UKNM: Thanks - Rant follow up

Many thanks to everyone for  amusing and encouraging responses to last

week's

rant on agencies and startups. So far it's been picked up by several

newsletters

and seems to be spreading like a genital rash on a fortnight in Ibiza.

Rather

embarrassingly, several colleagues in the ad industry seem to think I was

referring to them slightly more specifically than I intended. No-one's fired

me

yet. On the other hand - If I ever had a chance of being put up for the

Groucho

it's just disappeared and if I could sneak in I'd have to pay for my own

Charlie.


Several people very kindly suggested that...


a) I slash my wrists and immolate myself for the general good of the

industry or

b) I set up a List.


While I'm actively considering the first I've actually done the second.


Should anyone be interested in having the bitter rantings of an ad exec

entering

a crisis of conscience delivered to their desktop without warning or

provocation, they would be advised to visit...
