Maybe  - but at least it demonstrates that the prospective candidate has

taken the intitiative to try to find out something out about the company

they are applying for.


The number of people I've interviewed that haven't :


a. looked at the company's website (and this is for jobs directly related to

working in new media)

b. read or even made an attempt to get hold of  the media pack (if the job

was with a meda owner)


beggars belief.....
