No, they've partnered with LookSmart (gaining revenue if anybody uses the 

directory's express listing service by way of the Excite site).


Looking further down the page, you'll see: "Click here to add your site to 

the Excite Search Index only".


The free listing is still there - just not so obviously available.


But, of course, in either case it's best if a site is optimised first.
