first off, great choice, follow your dream. go register with some agencies.
show them your portfolio. they will give you a test. they will find you a
job. some good ones in manhattan are The Professionals, Vanguard Graphics,
Update Graphics. there are lots of them. get a Sunday Times and look at the
Help Wanted. you will see hundreds of agencies begging you to register with
them. go do some temp jobs so you have some experience to put on your
resume. whatever you do, don't pay $5k to learn html, that's crazy. you can
learn all that stuff for free on the web.
