Something like this really calls out for Director. It's much faster at

displaying fixed-res bitmap imagery, has a vast array of media-loading

controls, it's even easier to sequence slideshow-type things.


It's *possible* to do similar things in the small, vector based Macromedia

Flash Player, but in this area of overlap the Director engine has the edge.


Wish I had happier news, but that's a difficult situation to put the

rendering engine in, sorry.... :(
