Hi Flashers,


Preloading question:


I have the following flash movie sequence.


"Control.swf" is main movie (level 0) which loads in frame 1

"sound.swf" on level 5 and loads in frame 2 "intro.swf" on level

1.


When "intro.swf" finishes it loads "menu.swf" on level 1.


On "menu.swf" I have 4 buttons. When a button is clicked is loads

a new movie on level 1 (for example when you click on mission

button in "menu.swf" it loads "mission.swf" on level 1).


Once you are in "mission.swf" (for example) you can click other

buttons in a popup menu that will load other movies onto level 1

(these other 3 movies are the same as "mission.swf" but have

different text - "services.swf" for example. The fourth movie is

"staticmenu.swf" that is same as "menu.swf" but no animation)


Question: When I test the sequence in browser (IE) I see the

intro.swf but I have no sound until about halfway into my

menu.swf. How do I structure things so that when people enter the

site they will have sound starting with intro.swf. I've heard

about if frame is loaded but don't know how to do this with all

my different movies. Should I make a "loader animation" while

movies are loading? Where do I put it? How, etc.
